DMF Maintenance Requests
The Building Maintenance Request link can be found on all site pages through your designated portal.
We recommend that you keep the below link as a bookmark on your phone or device, as it can be used for all properties and
circumstances.
Points of interest for a Building Maintenance Request
- The “Assignee” is the person who is responsible for the “Request” or “PO”
- The “Collaborators” are the staff who can view the Request or PO
- The “Projects” field shows what type of Request Asana will display as.
- Note that PO’s are housed under “Dependencies”
- The “PO #” field is linked to the to the header title and may be changed or added to over the work
- The “Contact Email Address” receive updates via Asana
- The “Status” field automatically updates the task title and details when changed by DMF staff
- "Subtasks" might be present under the main request. These are to help DMF staff link similar requests or catch up contractors on additional related tasks

Points of interest for a Purchase Order
- On Asana, this will look very similar to a “Request”, in form and function
- Only one PO # can be assigned at a time
- “Status” and “PO Status” can be changed and this may affect what you see.
This is the main communication tool between DMF staff and Contractors.
