Outgoings

Outgoings are expenses that a Lessor (Landlord) incurs directly from owning a property. Commercial property outgoings can include things like council rates, water, fire, but does not include capital improvements, such as a fit out or lift replacement.

If a Lessee (Tenant) occupies an entire building, they pay the full outgoings amount.
If they only rent a part of the property, it’s done on a percentage basis.

At the end of the financial year, DeMartini Fletcher are required to have the Outgoings reconciled to ensure that all the costs run through the property relate Lessor’s (Landlord) property only.
